Hallmark Unveils Same-Sex Marriage Cards

Gay marriage may not be recognised in most American states, but it is by the country's biggest greeting card company.

Hallmark is introducing same-sex wedding cards - featuring two tuxedos, overlapping hearts or intertwined flowers, with best wishes inside. One says: "Two hearts. One promise."

Hallmark added the cards after California joined Massachusetts as the only US states with legal gay marriage. A handful of other states have recognised same-sex civil unions.

In the articles I saw about this earlier today or whenever, some reactionary religious groups was talking about how Hallmark was cozying up to marriages and behavior that the group says are "illegal" in most states.

What idiots. It isn't illegal to be gay and it isn't illegal for same-sex partners to get married in any state, even if the marriage isn't state-sanctioned.

Well, you-all know this. But I just wanted to say it to SOMEONE. I'm sure if I met any of the religious zealots they'd be immune to reason.
