Broadway Bares: Rock Hard Raises Over $1.3 Million for BC/EFA
The annual Broadway Bares show was yet another stunner, raising a whopping $1,386,105 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. To help out, celebs including Alan Cumming, James Franco, Bianca Del Rio, and Alex Minsky all took the stage. Franco even got in on the strip show.
This year's theme — "Broadway Bares: Rock Hard!" — was billed as a modern-day mix tape with tributes to the iconic moments in rock that included 170 of New York's sexiest dancers. Check out the photos on the following pages for performances honoring Elvis, Pink, Aerosmith, Prince and more.
This is the 24th edition, hld for the first time in New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom, and it lured a crowd of more than 5,000 people.

Bianca Del Rio Pulls Down James Franco’s Pants, Reveals Jockstrap, At “Broadway Bares: Rock Hard!”
Broadway Bares: Rock Hard! lit up the Great White Way last night, when more than 150 sinfully hot chorus boys and girls strut their stuff and stripped off their skimpy costumes to raise money for AIDS research and education.
This year’s rock-and-roll-themed show featured numbers paying tribute to everyone from Michael Jackson to Metallica—and also included appearances by Cabaret‘s Alan Cumming, Rocky‘s Andy Karl, Christopher Sieber and Lesli Margherita of Matilda The Musical, Casa Valentina‘s Patrick Page and Marine-turned-model Alex Minsky.
Our favorite moment, though, was RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio reading Of Mice and Men star James Franco onstage (above). “Don’t you know who I am?” Franco demanded before Bianca made him drop his pants for a thorough “background check.” Franco must have known what was coming, as he was sporting a black jockstrap under his jeans.(source)
