Dolly Parton doesn’t talk much about her marriage to husband Carl Dean, but that doesn’t mean she’s not a fan of the institution—in fact, she thinks gays should be allowed to tie the knot just like straight folks.
“I don’t want to be controversial or stir up a bunch of trouble but people are going to love who they are going to love. I think gay couples should be allowed to marry,” the 68-year-old music legend told The Daily Mail. ”They should suffer just like us heterosexuals!”(more)
Just a whole lot of mindless stuff to help us pass the time....what more could you ask for?

Fly Nightclub to Close After WorldPride
Popular Toronto gay club best known as Babylon in Showtime series Queer As Folk.
Another gay dance club will close its doors for good after one last big bash during WorldPride. Fly owner Keir MacRae broke the news to his employees over the weekend that the club he’s operated for 15 years on Gloucester Street will shut down when his current lease expires June 30.
The adjacent resto-bar Fire on the East Side, also owned by MacRae, has already closed and is operating only for private functions.
The building Fly and Fire on the East Side are located in has been approved for redevelopment as a 29-storey condo, although developers have not announced plans to begin construction. MacRae says the landlord offered him the option of renewing his lease but demanded a large rent increase for anything more than a short-term extension. MacRae says that keeping the club going just a year at a time doesn’t make sense.

Paul Doran-Jones : Gay Players In Pro Sports Will Be Accepted
Harlequins rugby star Paul Doran-Jones has spoken out about gay men in sport as the prop has refreshingly claimed that they can come out 'knowing it's all accepted'.
The 28-year-old has a 10-month old baby with his girlfriend of four years, but understands how difficult it can be for gay sportsmen to open up about their sexuality.
Doran-Jones told Attitude Magazine: 'Of course there are loads of gay guys in sport and when they are ready they will come out knowing it's all accepted.
'We live in a world where most people don't care that people are gay, that they are party of society.' However, Doran-Jones does admit that rugby players may find it easier to come out than footballers.
He added: 'I think rugby players are pretty open minded actually. Gareth (Thomas) was brave because no one had done it before but having come out he has thrived and he is happy.(DailyMail)
