Daniel Craig to Play Bisexual Roman Emperor Hadrian
'James Bond' actor Daniel Craig is all set to let go of his impeccable tux for ancient Roman robes as he steps into the role of bisexual ruler 'Hadrian' in his upcoming flick 'Memoirs Of Hadrian'.
The Hollywood hottie will be seen playing the art loving roman ruler, who ruled from 117 to 138 AD and is famous for building the wall dividing Scotland from the Great Britain.
Craig will also be seen portraying the ruler's affair with a teenage Greek boy Antinous, after which his wife refuses to bear him any children.
The movie will be helmed by veteran Brit director John Boorman, 75.
Craig raised quite a few eyebrows when he suggested the 007 secret agent should be portrayed as a bisexual in the movie earlier this year.
"Why not? I think in this day and age fans would have accepted it. No-one blinks an eye," the Daily Star quoted Craig, as saying.

Saudi Arabia: Police Aarrest 55 at 'Gay' Party
Saudi religious police have arrested 55 people at a party allegedly held by homosexuals at a farm in Qatif province in the east of the country.
According to a report on the Arab satellite TV channel, al-Arabiya, two young men were allegedly found wearing women's make up and dancing on stage together.
The detainees were all handcuffed when they were arrested. Saudi police said during their search they found drugs and alcohol and other items that are prohibited under the country's strict Sharia law.
A similar police blitz was carried out more than a month ago at another farmhouse in the same area where 21 alleged homosexuals were arrested. Some of those arrested were Filipinos and Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia.
Many of them were reportedly wearing women's clothes and makeup at the party which was organised to celebrate the birthday of one of the group's members.
On that occasion, religious police found alcohol, clothing and makeup hidden inside.(source)

What's in Your 'Gay Lube Oil'
Australian customs have intercepted a shipment of liquid steroids concealed in bottles of sexual lubricant.
More than 150 bottles have been seized in Victoria, Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia since the beginning of the year.
The bottles from Thailand are marked 'gay lube oil', but actually contain testosterone and Deca Durabolin - which are performance enhancing drugs.
Richard Janeczko from Customs says it certainly is an unusual concealment.
“I think that they’re going for the presumption that customs won’t examine the goods, mainly because we may actually think it’s gay lube oil.
“Secondly they might think we won’t examine it because…it’s a bit yucky or whatever.”
Several individuals have been issued with formal warnings - while customs is in talks with Thai authorities to prevent further shipments.(source)

AIDS Epidemic 'Stabilising'
After 27 years and the loss of more than 25 million lives, the global AIDS pandemic has at last stabilised, but more funds and a breakthrough in disease prevention are needed to sustain this progress and roll back the threat, UNAIDS said on Tuesday.
Deaths from AIDS-related illnesses fell in 2007 for the second year running, thanks mainly to the widening distribution of drugs to control the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) that wrecks immune defences, an UNAIDS report said.
Mortality from AIDS last year was around two million -- some 200,000 deaths fewer than in 2005.
The tally of people living with HIV last year is put at around 33 million, compared with 32.7 million in 2006, according to the report, issued ahead of the 17th International AIDS Conference , opening in Mexico City on Sunday.
Some 2.7 million people became newly infected last year.(keep reading)

US Gymnast Paul Hamm Pulls Out of Olympics
American gymnast Paul Hamm has announced that he will not be able to compete at the Beijing Olympics and defend his men's all-around title.
Hamm officially notified USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee on Monday that he is withdrawing from the team. He said his right hand, which he broke at the national championships in May, had not healed enough for him to compete.
