Kathleen Wynne Becomes Canada's First LGBT Premier

The Liberal Party of Ontario elected Kathleen Wynne the new leader of it's party.

As the new leader, Kathleen Wynne helped Canada hit two milestones yesterday.  She's both the province's first female premier and Canada's first openly gay premier.

"The province has changed, our party has changed," Wynne, leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, said. "I do not believe that the people of Ontario … hold that prejudice in their hearts."

Chris Mears is gracing the cover of Gay Times Magazine for their February 2013 Naked issue and he has one thing on his mind…to steal all of Tom Daley’s gay fans.

In an interview with Gay Times, the 19-year-old straight heartthrob joked: “I’m trying to steal his gay fan base by doing this shoot for GT!”

JJ Abrams Confirmed as 'Star Wars 7' Director

Sci-fi filmmaker J.J. Abrams will direct “Star Wars: Episode VII”, Walt Disney Co said after days of speculation, giving hope to many long-suffering fans who were disappointed by the last three installments in the iconic franchise.

The announcement was greeted with celebrations on online networks by the films’ army of enthusiasts who have already watched Abrams rescue the aging “Star Trek” series with a high-grossing prequel in 2009.

Star Wars 7 is set to hit theaters in 2015.

Prince Harry Named World's Most Eligible Bachelor

Prince Harry, 28, has been named the Top Bachelor, according to the editors at Town & Country, which named the current top 50 bachelors in the world.

"Prince William's baby brother flirts and flies Apache helicopters with equal aplomb," the magazine wrote.
 

The list isn't very Hollywood specific (although both George Clooney and Jack Nicholson made the cut). Instead, in addition to the prince, people like Ralph Lauren's son, Andrew, President Obama's speechwriter Jon Favreau, and Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos snagged a spot.

Most hilariously, still-just-a-high-schooler Conor Kennedy made the cut.(CNN)
