Madonna Concert & New York City Pride - Same Weekend
Madonna's tour dates (all but a few cities) will be announced at 9:00 a.m. this Monday, April 3rd.
If you believe some fans with camera phones, it appears tickets for New York will go on sale April 10th and for L.A. will go on sale April 9th, that she's playing Madison Square Garden June 28th and June 29th and that the tour is simply The Confessions Tour. Or. Could all be a hoax.

UPDATE: The official tour poster will be an image from KoKo's. The Italian date (at the gi-normous Olympic Stadium) will be August 7th.
The posters are real and are up at 10th Avenue and 23rd Street in Manhattan. See more photos after the jump. Confessions Tour and www.confessionstour.com (the site is under construction!) are the most interesting new confirmations.
UPDATE: Madonna will not stop in "the fascist state of Toronto" on her Confessions Tour. Montreal is the only Canadian stop. (And the quote is from Truth Or Dare, so don't panic.)

It's Happened Again - Roddick Out
Gritty Spaniard David Ferrer toppled former champion Andy Roddick in Thursday's quarterfinal action at the $3.45 NASDAQ-100 Open, the second of nine Masters Series events this year.
The 11th-seeded Ferrer upset the fourth-seeded Roddick 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 on the Stadium Court at Crandon Park. Ferrer will meet Roger Federer in the semifinals on Friday.
Ferrer broke Roddick's massive serve with a brilliant cross-court backhand winner to secure a 5-4 lead in the final set and converted on his first match point in the next game when the American netted one final forehand.
The former world No. 1 Roddick, despite firing 10 aces to Ferrer's zero, fell in 1 hour, 51 minutes. The struggling American also piled up 49 unforced errors, compared to 24 for Ferrer, who broke Roddick's serve four times en route to the upset.
The Wimbledon runner-up Roddick, who became the Miami champion in 2004 by beating Argentine Guillermo Coria in the final, is now 1-1 lifetime against Ferrer. The brash American has now failed to reach a final in five tournaments this year.

Bahamas Bans 'Brokeback Mountain'
A Bahamian government board's decision to ban the movie "Brokeback Mountain" has prompted charges of discrimination and censorship in the island chain.
Gay rights groups and others have called on the Plays and Films Control Board to reverse its decision prohibiting theaters from showing the award-winning movie about a troubled love affair between two cowboys.
"You have a group of people who are telling grown men and women what they can and cannot watch," said Philip Burrows, a theater director in the island chain. "I cannot understand denying people the right to make their own choices."
Theaters in Nassau, the capital, had already begun to advertise the movie Friday when the board announced its ban at the request of the Bahamas Christian Council.
"The board chose to ban it because it shows extreme homosexuality, nudity and profanity, and we feel that it has no value for the Bahamian public," Chavasse Turnquest-Liriano, liaison officer for the control board, said Wednesday.

Pope Slams Gay Marriage Ahead of Italian Vote
Pope Benedict, speaking just 10 days ahead of Italy's national elections, lashed out against gay marriage and abortion on Thursday and said the Church had the right to speak out on thorny political issues.
Opposition centre-left politicians who advocate some legal recognition of the rights of unmarried heterosexual and homosexual couples accused the Pope of meddling in politics.
Addressing lawmakers from the European People's Party (EPP), Benedict said the Church's position on such issues was "non-negotiable".
He said the Church had a right and duty to defend "the recognition and promotion of the natural structure of the family as a union between a man and a woman based on marriage".
It would oppose "attempts to make it juridically equivalent to radically different forms of union which in reality harm it and contribute to its destabilisation", he added.
Opposition politicians slammed the Pope's words on abortion and gay marriage as political interference.
