Big Gay Jump to Go Off in July

Mark Rejhon, a Canadian skydiver who has jumped from a plane 142 times, has organized the Rainbow Boogie, the first official gay skydiving event, to take place just south of Montreal at the end of July.

Says Mark: "Some of us like the excitement, along with the social atmosphere of being a part of a group of skydivers. A lot of hobby skydivers love to travel to skydiving parties called 'boogies' as vacation. Skydiving boogies have a fun camp-style social atmosphere that combines adrenaline excitement, camping, partying, bonfires, beer nights, camaraderie, and, not to mention, skydiving can be addictive."

Mark is the first licensed deaf skydiver in Canada and participated in the "Deaf World Record" for skydiving in Florida in 2005 when he linked with 19 other divers in formation. The Rainbow Boogie will be just another first to add to the list.
