Blondie's Hall Of Fame Melt-Down


An ugly feud between members of Blondie spilled over onstage Monday night as the band was being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Band members stood awkwardly together on stage at the induction ceremony at New York's Waldorf-Astoria hotel. They've been on bad terms since 1999 when the band re-formed with Deborah Harry and Chris Stein but left out members Frank Infante, Nigel Harrison and Gary Valentine. Infante and Harrison sued unsuccessfully to rejoin.

Infante pleaded with Harry to let them perform one more time with Blondie at the induction ceremony. "Debbie, are we allowed?" he said.
She refused, and Infante groaned loudly before leaving the stage.
That made for an uncomfortable performance of Heart of Glass, Rapture and Call Me by Harry, who is now a redhead. (keep reading:CBC.ca)
