Dolly Parton Supports Marriage Equality

Dolly Parton doesn’t talk much about her marriage to husband Carl Dean, but that doesn’t mean she’s not a fan of the institution—in fact, she thinks gays should be allowed to tie the knot just like straight folks.

“I don’t want to be controversial or stir up a bunch of trouble but people are going to love who they are going to love. I think gay couples should be allowed to marry,” the 68-year-old music legend told The Daily Mail. ”They should suffer just like us heterosexuals!”(more)
