Roland Emmerich's gay-rights film Stonewall has added Jonathan Rhys Meyers to the cast ahead of the start of production.The film, which will star Jeremy Irvine, tells the story of the riots of June 1969 after police raided the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village. Emmerich's film will focus on one man's political awakening sparked by the riots, which became a galvanizing event for the gay rights movement. Newcomer Jonny Beauchamp and Caleb Landry Jones also star in the project.(THR)
