Olympic Gymnast Louis Smith : " Gay Icon"

Smith, 23, who won silver on the Pommel Horse at this year’s London 2012 Olympic Games, says he’s now receiving greater attention from woman and men due to his participation in the BBC’s celebrity dance show Strictly Come Dancing.

The athlete, who is straight, claims his stint on the show has given him a whole new legion of male fans.

“I get lots of attention from females as well as males,” Smith told the Mirror. “It’s a bit strange. ­Apparently I’m a bit of a gay icon.”(Source: Mirror)
