It didn't take long for many blogs to pick up the story, including London Calling Luv. Well, you can keep it in your pants. The story is false.

"Hey guys, Cody Cummings here. Last week, the Manhunt Daily blog ran a false press release from someone pretending to be me, stating that I was coming out of the closet as a gay man. Today, I see that both Towleroad and Gay.net picked up that inaccurate Manhunt story and have re-printed the press release — a press release that is a complete fabrication. I am not now nor have I ever been gay"

Cody says HE IS NOT GAY and has addressed this saying it's false. See The sword or queerclick for the correct information.
The entire post from Manhunt's blog ended by saying "NOTE: Everything in this post is a lie. All of it." It's very poor of other blogs to not read the entirety of a piece before passing it along. I don't know why Manhunt decided to do this (it's not like it's April Fool's) but nonetheless, it did state that it was fiction.
Then WHAT THE FUCK IS HE? HE AIN"T STRAIGHT. MAYBE STRAIGHT IDENTIFIED, BUT NOT STRAIGHT WHILE SEX WITH MEN. WHY ARE YOU GAY MEN SUPPORTING THIS FOOL?
