Gays Rule : Fabulous Beekman Boys Win ‘Amazing Race’

They traveled through eight countries and covered more than 25,000 miles.

The two-hour finale of the 21st season of CBS' Amazing Race ended with three final teams — Texas dating couple Lexi and Trey, Las Vegas Chippendale dancers James and Jaymes and goat farmers/life partners Josh and Brent, vying for the $1 million prize.

They traveled from France to wind up in — where else? — New York City. At the United Nations, the final challenge had them matching up the words for "hello" and "goodbye" from each of the nine countries they visited on their adventure.

In the end, goat farmers in Sharon Springs, N.Y., Josh Kilmer-Purcell, 43, and Brent Ridge, 38, partners for 15 years, pulled it off first and best to snag the win. The two were known as The Fabulous Beekman Boys because they starred in their own reality series for two seasons on Discovery's Planet Green. The show was canceled in 2011. (USA Today)
