Portugal could soon become the sixth European country to allow same-sex marriages. Gay marriage is not at all new. It was very common during the Roman Empire. Fewer than 1 in 10 gay relationships last more than 3 years, only 5 to 8 percent of gay 'married' men remain faithful to their partner...why is this such a big victory?
