The city of Campbell's new mayor is the now the youngest openly gay mayor, and the youngest Asian American mayor in the country.Evan Low, 26, was voted into his one year term on Campbell's mayor rotation system Tuesday night by the city council.
The city, population 40,000, has NEITHER a large gay or Asian population.
Low graduated from San Jose State in 2003 and got an internship on the city council, and was elected to the council when he was 23.

He also has a great charismatic voice too. I see huge potential in him in maybe becoming the first openly gay senator in the US representing California. He's very active in politics and you can see him organizing campaigns everywhere in NorthCal. More so, he's very approachable and unlike the past generation of leaders, he dare tells you where he stand on controversial issues and even willing to sign on them. All the best Evan!!!
