No Gay Kissing at the Colosseum Please!

Italian Gays Stage 'kiss-in' ProtestGay rights campaigners in Rome have held "kiss-in" protests in front of the Colosseum in response to the arrest of two men.

Police insisted the men, aged 27 and 28, were held for "lewd acts" in the capital but activists insisted they were merely being affectionate.

They now face a trial for public indecency, punishable by up to two years in jail.

Centre-left government politicians weighed into the row, accusing the Carabinieri of harassment - but the police maintained they had merely been applying the law.

Health minister Livia Turco said the arrests were "excessive" and called for an apology.

An official report to the prosecutors claims the men had "their trousers and underpants down".

However, the men have said they were just kissing. (

a lot of gay guys do think that just because most western nations have given us our freedom that they have a right to have sex in public. They can't, it's not right and it's not decent.

It's not right or decent for anyone straight or gay to act indecently in public especially if children are present or could be present.

Gay Kiss in public are as decent as straight kiss

I'm not saying a gay kiss isn't decent but if they really did have their pants down and were kissing in public as the officers suggest then it certainly isn't decent.
