Born on November 28, 1982 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Alan began his career as a model in Florida and was featured in ad campaigns for Abercrombie and Fitch, Nike, Joe Boxer and Whoau along with editorials for Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Maxim and CosmoGirl.
Alan Ritchson appeared as Aquaman in an episode of Smallville.
The actor, musician and model got his start in show biz after he was a finalist on "American Idol, Season 3" and now he's being animated as the lead character in the upcoming film "Beowulf" with Anthony Hopkins and John Malkovich.
