In todays world of media madness the role of Constitutional Monarch is a high-wire act over an alligator pit. For 56 years Her Majesty has trod that high-wire resolutely, gracefully and with inimitable equanimity.
I pray the British people appreciate how fortunate they are to have such a Queen.
