The poster which was released the same year as Farrah Fawcett played Jill Munroe on the TV show Charlie's Angels. It went on to sell a record 12 million copies making it one of the most famous pin-ups ever.Poster is inside the time capsule of the Oblio Satellite Probe that was shot into space by NASA in 1977. It also hangs in the Smithsonean.
In 2007, G.Q. Magazine named the poster “the most influential piece of men’s art of the last 50 years.”

Along with the torn out pages of Scavullo On Beauty, this poster graced my bedroom walls for a few years in the Seventies. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. x
