Jack Mackenroth Heats Up "Project Runway" Season 4

Thirty-eight year old Jack Mackenroth hails from Seattle, Washington, and is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a double degree in Fine Arts and Sociology. Inspired by designers such as Diane Von Furstenberg and Alexander McQueen (For Men), he moved to New York in 1991 to attend Parsons School of Design where he studied fashion design.

Upon completing his studies, he opened his self-titled menswear store in New York City’s West Village. Six years later, he worked for Tommy Hilfiger and did design for the Slates brand. He spent the last four years as the Design Director at Weatherproof Active Wear.

Aside from fashion, Mackenroth also has a passion for swimming as he earned national recognition as a competitive swimmer.

Being open about his HIV positive status, Jack continues to live his life as a role model through his professional and athletic achievements.

Jack Mackenroth is one of 15 contestants joining season 4 of Bravo’s reality series, Project Runway.
