Britain's Prince William was commissioned as an army officer on Friday.
It's a proud moment for the future King of England. After 44 weeks of training, Prince William became a second lieutenant in the British Army on Friday.
At the graduation parade, the prince acted as a marker to ensure cadets marched in a straight line.
Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Cornwall were all at Sandhurst to watch the prince complete his military milestone.
The Queen took the opportunity to remind the cadets of the selfless role of the British Army.
"For those who are to be commissioned today and to those who will shortly follow, a great deal will be expected of you. You must be courageous yet selfless, leaders yet carers, confident yet considerate," said Queen Elizabeth II.
William's girlfriend, Kate Middleton, was also present, fuelling speculation that the couple will soon marry.
After the celebrations, Prince William will train to become a troop commander in an armoured reconnaissance unit, where he'll be in charge of around a dozen men.
