The Boston Bruins are 2011 Stanley Cup champions.Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand each scored twice and Tim Thomas picked up his second shutout of the series to lead the Bruins to a 4-0 victory over the host Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night.
It was Boston's sixth cup and first in 39 years since the fabled club of Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito beat the New York Rangers.
Vancouver had been hoping for its first-ever cup in the 40 year franchise history. But the club only scored eight goals in the seven games.
