Not a copter.Turret gunner in a WWII bomber. The photo was taken by a Portland, Oregon photographer. Had a chance to buy a framed print once. Wish I had.
More about the photograph.Prints made by the photographer of this image have gone for 10-20 thousand dollars at auction.(And I was wrong -- the photographer didn't live in Portland.)
