Sorry to hear about your loss. Must have been an incredibly difficult day for you, filled with sadness from the loss of your friend Michael, and with melancholy over the absence of your parents. We never fully gets used to the feeling of being orphaned, do we, now matter how old we are when we lose mother and father both? I am sending you my most heartfelt, positive thoughts on this day, and for the days to come, as - as heartbreaking as it is - life does, albeit forever a little less bright - go on. Peace. T.
I endorse Terry C's comments above. I remember how movingly you wrote about your Father on Father's Day. You must have been very close. Well there was a bit of brightness on the 10th September.......my first Grandson was born....named Elliot. I am one of those lucky 'gays' who married when very young and had two sons.........now men........29 years old and 31. My partner of 27 years and I were delighted when Elliot arrived yesterday, 10th September. Keep smiling Nuno, you appear to be surrounded by wonderful friends.
