Retailer Gap Inc. said Friday fashion and interior designer Todd Oldham will be the Old Navy brand's new design creative director, effective Oct. 1.
The company said Oldham plans to develop and launch a line of merchandise under his name to be sold exclusively at Old Navy.
Oldham is currently the host of "Top Design," Bravo's reality competition show featuring interior design. Gap said he will split his time between New York City and San Francisco, where the company is headquartered.
Gap shares rose 32 cents to close at $18.55.
