Eileen Brennan Dies at 80

Eileen Brennan, who earned an Oscar nomination for her hilarious turn as the exasperated drill captain in 1980's "Private Benjamin," has died. She was 80.

Brennan died Sunday at her Burbank, California, home after a battle with bladder cancer, her management company said.

Many will also know her as Zandra, from Will & Grace. Brennan earned her seventh Emmy nomination for her guest arc as Jack's (Sean Hayes) eccentric acting teacher.

"So sad to hear of Eileen Brennan's death," Hayes tweeted. "She was hilarious to work with on W&G. She always made me laugh during my scenes with her."

I remember her first in The Sting as Paul Newman's love interest. Sorry to learn this. She wasn't much older than Goldie.
