The US space shuttle Enterprise zoomed around New York City, riding piggyback on top of a modified jumbo jet.
Its trip included flyovers over parts of the city and landmarks including the Statue of Liberty, World Trade Center and the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum on Manhattan's west side (where it will be permanently on display) on Apr. 27, 2012.

The videos I have seen have been awesome...but spooky at the same time. I did noy know it had never actually been used in space.
