According to TVLine.com, Chord Overstreet and the producers are in the final stages of negotiations to bring him back in a full time role.Over the summer, fans of the show were shocked that Overstreet’s option to return wasn’t picked up. When the show heard the public outcry, they offered Chord to stay on as a recurring character.
He politely declined and wanted to focus on his music career. A few months later, it seems both parties have had a change of heart.
“We missed Chord and Chord missed us,” says a source close to the show tells TVLine. “It’s a win-win.”
