Daniel Racliffe, star of Broadway’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, will receive the 2011 Hero Award from The Trevor Project, a national suicide prevention organization. The Harry Potter title star was recently featured in a public service announcement for the group, which aims its efforts at gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual and questioning youth. “It’s something I’ve always been quite passionate about,” Radcliffe told MTV News of his work with The Trevor Project. “Because I grew up around gay men, it was always a natural thing to me.”
Radcliffe will receive the Hero Award in June, following past recipients that include Broadway vets Nathan Lane and Vanessa Williams(keep reading)
