Anger as Pope Benedict XVI says Condoms Make AIDS Worse

Pope Benedict XVI provoked a furious response from Aids campaigners on the first day of his visit to Africa when he declared that distributing condoms only 'aggravates' the problems inflicted by the condition.

Benedict said that the Roman Catholic Church is in the forefront of the battle against AIDS. 'You can't resolve it with the distribution of condoms,' the pope told reporters aboard the Alitalia plane headed to Yaounde. 'On the contrary, it increases the problem.'

The pope said that a responsible and moral attitude toward sex would help fight the disease.

About 22 million people in sub-Saharan Africa are infected with HIV, according to UNAIDS.

In 2007, three-quarters of all AIDS deaths worldwide were there, as well as two-thirds of all people living with HIV.

The Pope is right. I followed his advise and could avoid aids. I'm just masturbating by watching your pictures and I need no condom and can't get Aids. You need only to change your sexual attitudes.

Just another in a long line of Popes causing immeasurable harm espousing the tenets of the fairy tail they call religion.

Well I agree with the pope.......the "aids campaigners" are merely condom business share holders. Those condoms they "give out" are paid for by "charity" money, and those they sell it's sold! Besides...why don't they guarantee on the condom package that it will prevent aids??????? Why don't they put a customer service number to call when you use the condom and still get aids????? Why don't they explain in detail the physics of condom tissue?????
