The Aussies - as the Championships are affectionately known - are back in 2009 and will once again be held at Scarborough Beach from 17 to 22 March.Along with competitors, around 500 officials and thousands of surf life saving enthusiasts are expected to flock to the Whereis® 2009 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, making the event the largest of its type in the world.
Whereis® Aussies 2009 marks the climax of a busy season for surf life savers.
