M7...poignant ad --'I am male, shall I clothe today?'
Au revoir, M.YSL, et restez calme.

The picture is beautiful. However, it is a complete violation to expect male genitals to be deemed appropriate for selling a perfume. it alienates straight men and feeds in to the greed of gay men. There are boundaries, this exceeded it but Tom Ford is renowned for exploiting his desires and sexuality at the expense of good taste, decency and respect. But most gay men don't see beyond the cock! They think that this is acceptable in order to satisfy there constant desire to see cock. This penis, although beautiful, was a big switch off to a product name that was once acceptable. Now YSL is cheap tacky smut.

in the contrary I find it quiet subtle not vulgar or rude, a perfume can dress you up !

this ad was actually created by tom ford, when he designed for the label. yves saint laurent famously disagreed with the direction that ford took with his namesake label, which is the reason he retired from couture after selling the house to gucci group - st. laurent had nothing to do with this ad, although he was the inspiration behind it; he famously posed nude for his first men's fragrance in the seventies. 'cheap tacky smut' ? give me a break! undeniably one of the greatest, most influential designers of the twentieth century.

You're entitled to your opinion. I wonder if you would be so blase to a vagina?!!! I mean exposed like his genitals. I guess not because those that deem this acceptable are usually the nancy boys still attached to their mummy's aprons who feel that there existence centres around their greed and in fact their heartfelt right to see cock in every possible situation. Quite a pervert really but then you cannot see beyond your own very small minded and shallow opinion. I pity you for being so selfish. Shame on you.

I pity someone who is offended by the human body or only sees the nude form in sexual terms and not for its own pure beauty.

Don't project your personal opinion that the naked human form can only be seen as sexual, that's your perversion.
