Burns Jr., who told the Baltimore Ravens to “order” their linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo to stop advocating for marriage equality.It didn't take long for the letter to go viral and make Chris Kluwe the unlikely face of Marriage Equality.

On taking a stand for gay rights: “It’s all about the Golden Rule. Treat other people as you want to be treated. It’s that simple. It’s something that needs to be spoken about, and it’s something I can do while fulfilling my job as a football player.”
