"The King's Speech" Shot On Gay Porn Set

Looks like The King’s Speech was shot in the same location as a gay porn movie.

It has been fairly well documented by the British press that the scenes in Lionel Logue’s (Oscar nominee Geoffrey Rush) office were shot at 33 Portland Place in London, but was that address used by adult film director Jonno when he shot Snookered? Movieline contacted Jonno to inquire about where and when the production was filmed.

According to Jonno, his video (which was done for the website UK Naked Men) was indeed shot in the exact same room as The King’s Speech at 33 Portland Place, though well before the King of England ever stepped foot onto the set. Snookered was filmed in August of 2008; The King’s Speech started filming in November of 2009.

The England wicketkeeper Steven Davies has announced he is gay – becoming the first serving professional cricketer to publicly out himself.

Davies, who started his professional cricketing career with Worcestershire when he was 18, said he could no longer bear to lie about his sexuality.

Davies, who told his family he was gay five years ago and has enjoyed their complete support, said it was a huge relief to finally come clean and be honest with the wider public.

President Obama Stops Defending DOMA In Court

Gay rights groups celebrated President Obama's decision on Wednesday to no longer defend the constitutionality of the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, which bans federal recognition of same-sex marriages.
