Following up on the recent discovery of Caravaggio's earthly remains, the Vatican newspaper is reporting a previously unknown painting by the Baroque master may have been found. Tentatively titled "The Martyrdom of St Lawrence" the image depicts a mostly-naked man (duh) "with one arm outstretched as he leans over leaping flames beneath him." [Cross-posted.]
